Waffen-SS Soldbuch to SS-Panzergrenadier Hermann Lähndorf, SS-Panzergrenadier Ersatz Btl 9 KIA near Berlin 1945
€850.00Waffen-SS Soldbuch to SS-Panzergrenadier Hermann Lähndorf. Issued on 9th of march 1945 in Stralsund at the Stamm Kompanie of SS Panzer Grenadier Ausbildungs und Ersatz Batailon 9. Hermann was born 29 April 1907 in Rensfeld. He was killed in action in April 1945 and buried in Beeskow which was a small town east of Berlin on the Spree river. Hermann was enlisted very late in the war and the front literally moved right to his base of training in March/April 1945. The training unit was responsible for supplying replacements for the Hohenstaufen division up to 1944. After that it was dissolved into the 32. SS-Freiwilligen Grenadier Division “30. Januar”. This unit saw heavy battles at the Seelow Hights, Beeskow which after it retreated trough the Halbe forest. Beeskow roughly being in between Seelow and Halbe. Nice late war Waffen-SS soldbuch which is a nice base for further research, for sure interesting example of a soldier that saw action in the last days of the war in the shadow of Berlin!

Rare German reissued Dutch pre war M33 helmet
€700.00A very nice Dutch pre war helmet reissued in the Wehrmacht. There are in general two types of pre war Dutch helmets reissued within the German army. The first type was a compete example with Dutch liner and chinstrap which was captured directly from army stocks in 1940. The second type were 4160 unfinished shells that were sold to the German government by the Dutch company of Artillerie Inrichtingen that was liquidated in 1942. These shells were acquired and fitted with specially modified German helmet liners by the company Biedermann & Charnikow in Litzmannstadt. These helmets were made specifically for the Schutzmannschaft and mostly issued guarding rural areas and fighting Partisans on the eastern front. The helmet comes with its wartime converted and assembled German M31 liner and chinstrap. Due to the shape of the helmets shell the liners are always installed backwards on a specifically designed mounting plate. Externally the lion plate insignia on the front has been removed and the helmet has been fully repainted in a textured Feldgrau paint. Exceptionally rare example that would be very hard to upgrade!

€425.00Rare Dutch M33 helmet in untouched condition. This is the typical helmet as worn by the Dutch army troops defending my home country in the German invasion in May 1940. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and chinstrap. The helmet retains mostof its original factory attatched lion plate and paint externally. Inside the rear skirt of the helmet there is a name. The felt inside the helmets liner has been removed. This is not a weird modification as these helmets were all made in one size and it sounds logically for a soldier to increase the helmets liner size by removing it. Hard to upgrade and hard to find example!
