German helmet

Excellent and rare highlight pencils or Krokierstiften by A.W. Faber in very good condition. These sets of pencils were very popular among officers and NCO’s and other troops which worked with maps. Easy to keep with you and perfect to clarify and mark maps! The cardboard case is still in good, undamaged condition and the labels are still largely readable. The label clearly reads: “Johann Faber Krokierstifte“. Belongs in any map-case collection!

Very rare and extremely scarce Eberhard Faber Taktik-Etui Nr. 542 in excellent condition. The pouch features all 4 coloured (yellow, red, blue & black) propelling pencils which are all undamaged and complete with their fillings inside! The pouch also contains its original tube for spare fillings. The pouch only misses the “Marschleistungen” measurement tool and the eraser which are virtually always missing from these sets. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from own personal collection!

Mint condition Kriegsmarine issue breadbag strap, easily recognizable by the broad size!

Textbook single decal M42 helmet marked NS66 indicating production by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte. The helmet retains up to 85% of it factory finish and up to 95% of its original decal. The helmet is named Didrich and retains remnants of a wire that was once covering the exterior of the helmet. Untouched, textbook helmet in very good condition and a good large size!

US Paratrooper Griswold bag in strong used condition. Rare to find in strong worn and untouched condition; this one most probably saw action and was left in the ETO after the liberation.

Late war Splittertarn Zeltbahn marked 0/0910/0023 in very good, near mint condition. The Zeltbahn retains most if not all factory sewn buttons and would be hard to upgrade.

Excellent Radio operators or signal troops or Fünker tornister in stone mint, unissued condition!

These specific tornisters would contain the necessary equipment for signal troops, such as cable reels and a large variety of tools. There were three versions of the backpack: “1, 2 & 3”, with each having different interiors for intended for different equipment. This pack is a later war example without number! The tornister is nicely marked hj* 1943 which indicates production by a still to this day unknown manufacturer. The fur on the cowhide is still completely intact. The shoulder straps are complete and intact, with all the leather parts still supple with a nice natural color. Excellent piece and for sure impossible to be upgraded and the first blue example I have ever seen!

German helmet liner marked Schuberth-Werk K.G. Braunschweig 1940 in the large size 66/58.

Rare US ETO Jacket, Field, Enlisted Men Size 36R British Made in good worn condition. The jacket is complete with buttons and most of the nap in the wool.

Extremely rare M45 camouflage jacket in the experimental late war Leibermuster camouflage pattern. Textbook, original example with all details you’d like to see on one of these jackets. The flat, non reinforced collar without hooks, the straight horizontal front pockets with pleats on the bottom seam going both ways, aluminum smooth buttons on the front and paper on the sleeves, square reinforcements at the armpits, drawstring and of course comes without back seam. The jacket is sewn from a loosely woven HBT or Drillich material sewn with single and double needle sewing machines. The jacket is in very good, lightly worn condition and would be a iconic yet extremely scarce piece in any collection. These jackets are rarely offered on the open market and it is a good opportunity to acquire a top rare piece!

US T-5 chest pack dated April 1944 in very good, unissued condition. The pack does not retain a canopy but is nicely filled up. Rare to find late war T-5 chestpack!

Empty and rare US Luminous markers Type 1 case in good used condition.

Nice M42 canteen with its textbook steel cup. The canteen is in overall good condition without any real damages. The cup is nicely marked CFL 44 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1944. The strap is made out of smooth light brown coloured leather which I have encountered multiple times by now on canteens made by CFL in 1944, typical detail!

Nice M31 canteen in salty, as found condition. The aluminium flask is nicely marked CFL 40 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1940. The canteen is complete with a bakelite cup which seems to be original to the canteen which is in uncleaned as found condition.

Excellent pre war matching M31 Messkit in stone mint, unissued condition. The mess kit is nicely marked DMN 39 which indicates production by Deutsche Metallwerke AG, Neustadt in 1939. Excellent example which would be impossible to upgrade!

Textbook pre war large 1L canteen or Labeflasche in complete matching and unissued condition. All the parts (flask, harness, cap, hook, cup and cover) of the canteen are nicely marked CFL 37 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1937. The canteen is a typical pre war example with high quality materials!

Rare large 1L canteen or Labflasche which features a carbine hook which was specifically manufactured for and issued to Gebirgsjäger troops. This is a factory made carbine hook and factory applied to the harness and should not be confused with a modified example! The canteen itself is nicely marked CFL 39 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1939. The canteen comes complete with its original small aluminium cup which is a textbook configuration for these early 1L examples. Rare example!

Textbook late war M42 canteen in good used condition. The canteen is a textbook M42 example with the steel cup. The canteen is nicely matching maker marked smm 43 which indicates production by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach. Nice late war canteen!
