  • Matching Wehrmacht issue field cutlery set marked GK&F 41/42

    Textbook field cutlery marked GK&F 41 which indicates production by Gebr. kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid in 1941. The maker Gebr. Kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid is mainly known for their production of belt buckles but they produced a lot more than just belt buckles!

  • Rare Italian made M31 Messkit marked SV44

    Beautiful and very rare Italian produced M31 aluminium messkit. The messkit is nicely marked SV 44 which indicates production by Smalterie Venete (Italian company) in 1944. Very nice example in used and untouched condition, only the strap could have been added later by a collector but is original as well! For sure one of the rarest messkits to be found

  • Late war patched tornister with blue checkered lining

    Late war Tornister made from recycled materials. The second one in this pattern I have ever seen, the other one being in a friends collection. This late war Tornister is a nice example; fully made from recycled material. The fur is not made from one piece but made from square patches. The canvas used in producing this is all different coloured material with a nice detail being a blue checkered fabric is used in the lining. Nice and uncommon Tornister for any equipment collection!

    Nice late war M42 canteen in good used condition. The canteen is mismatched, the flask itself is nicely marked FWBN 43 and the cup is nicely marked C&CW 42. It is impossible to say if this mismatch happened during the war or in the post war period. Typical late war canteen!

Rare to find variant complete with its leather case. The case at some point got some markings which don’t belong but don’t detract from the rarity of this compass.

The box is made out of steel and has a few bits of paint still left on it. This is the 3 type spare bolt box which could contain both the MG34 as the MG42 bolt but has only been observed in use on the Lafette 42. These boxes are rare to find in good condition without being messed with post war!

The messkit retains up to 99% of its original brown finish. Out of hundreds of mess kits, this is the best one I’ve had the pleasure to offer yet!

    Soldbuch to Oberfeldwebel Rudi Neel, serving in Grenadier Regiment 1144, 562. Volksgrenadierdivision. He was would two times by shrapnel in 1943 and 1945. He was awarded the Anschluss medal, wound badge, Iron cross second class, eastern front medal and the infantry assault badge. He has several Nahkampftagen with Such. Btl. 705 and 795 with Heeresgruppe Mitte. He was issued a Belgian pistol, flashlight, binoculars and a gasmask size 2.

    A nice late war blue belt buckle (Einheitskoppelschloss) in mint condition. Nicely marked JFS indicating production by Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz an der Neiße. The belt buckle has a typical brown painted set of prongs and a excellent original paint finish!

The Dienstglas is nicely marked with the serial number 231734 and with the code ddx. which indicates production by Voigtlaender u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig. Nice 6X30 Dienstglas in good used condition!

    Excellent and still originally tied together set of Volkssturm collar tabs intended for the rank of Zugführer. The collar tabs are in mint condition and never applied or separated. One tab still features a small paper label on the back with some pencil writing on it. Excellent set of very hard to find Volkssturm collar tabs in mint condition!

    Beautiful and near mint 6×30 Dienstglas marked Carl Zeiss Jena. Textbook early examples produced between 1940 and 1941 with the Waffenamt stamped on the lower bridges.

  • Saint-Lô Woodwork British Ammo boots 1944

    Textbook pair of British ammo boots dated 1944 straight from the Woodwork in SaintLô, Normandy. These boots survived the war and was found with 5 helmets in a farm in SaintLô by myself, 5.6.2021.  Interesting detail is that the boots have period installed German hobnails and laces indicating they where probably worn by a German soldier. Still textbook British army boots in good worn condition.

Wether these where really bullet proof could be debated per calibre size; but the fact is these where very popular amongst the troops and often carried in the ETO and PTO.

    Excellent, unusual A-frame bag in good unnisued condition. The A-frame bag is in my opinion unissued and shows only some minor wear of storage. The A-frame bag is beautifully ink stamped Wittkop & Co., Bielefeld 1940 which is clearly readable. The unusual green fabric that is the base material in the construction is originative from Dutch pre 1940 army working suits or which have been captured during the occupation of the Netherlands and quickly re-used!

    Textbook long M38 asmask canister with periodically attached straps. The canister itself is nicely marked ebu 44 which indicates production by Eckhardt & Co., Fabrikerzeugung von Auto-gen u. Atemgeraete, Chotebor in 1944. The canister is beautifully named/personalized on the inside of the lid with red paint. The canister is named to (San.) Sanitäts (Gfr.) Gefreiter Steinwender. Stunning named/personalized canister without mask which would be perfect for display on a mannequin because the weight of an complete canister with gasmask would damage the straps on long terms!
