Q62 M35 field repainted ex winter camouflage helmet
Typical field repainted M35 helmet named Obergefreiter Brennstahl. The helmet is marked Q62 indicating production by Quist. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and chinstrap and shows signs of being a ex winter camouflage helmet. Nice and IMO typical Heer reissue helmet!

Unissued M42 messkit marked CFL 43
A unissued “mint” M42 Kochgeschirr marked CFL 43 indicating production in 1943 by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid. The messkit is painted red oxide covered externally in olive paint. The messkit retains up to 95% of its original finish. Out of hundreds of mess kits, this is one of the best I’ve had the pleasure to offer!

German reissued Italian messkit
€125.00The Italian army messkit (Gavetta Modello 1930) was a commonly seen item within the German army. Prior to re-issue in the German army they where mostly painted green by the Germans. This example came out of a small find in Italy just recently and would be hard to upgrade.

A unissued “mint” M42 Kochgeschirr marked CFL 44 indicating production in 1944 by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid. The messkit has a red primer paint which externally and internally is covered by the green/olive coloured paint. The messkit retains up to 95% of its original finish. Out of hundreds of mess kits, this is one of the best I’ve had the pleasure to offer!

Set of late war RG34 cleaning and oiling brush
Textbook late war produced set of a cleaning and an oiling brush in light used condition. The cleaning brush or Reinigungsbürste is made out of brass bristles in the middle and normal bristles on both of the ends. The oiling brush or Ölbürste is made completely out of normal bristles and is a bit wider than the cleaning brush. Nice original set of two brushes which are often missing in the RG34 cleaning kit. Very nice set in good used condition which is almost impossible to find!

US liquid vesicant gas detection paint
Very nice original original can of US gas detection paint marked Paint liquid vesicant detector M5 type 2 Cincinnati Ohio. These paints where used by American troops to camouflage equipment but also used on WD motorcycles. The paint inside is still liquid. The can was found 25 years ago from a small lot in Normandy.

Rare US roll up mapcase marked G.J. Aigner Co. 1943
Rare original US roll up mapcase maker marked and dated G.J. Aigner Co. 1943. Originally stock number 24C-539-20 these mapcase were most probably used by CO’s in the field and most probably stored inside vehicles. The strap at the end is slightly damaged but intact. The tie straps are undamaged and functional. The see through plastic grid is intact and undamaged. These map cases are incredibly rare!

Q64 M40 no decal helmet
Nice example of a late war Q64 no decal M40 helmet in mint condition. The Quist firm produced the size 64 M40 helmet shell right up till late in 1944 whilst the other companies all adopted the M42 model. The helmet is a tell tale of the Quist quality with a shell blued prior to painting. The outside retains up to 95% of its factory applied textured paint. The inside is typical for these helmets finished without texture. This helmet was made for all the branches just like the M42 helmet without decal. The helmet is a bit dusty but unissued and would be hard to upgrade.

Officers jacket 82nd Airborne ID’ed J. Simpson 504 PIR HQ
Beautiful US 82nd Airborne Officer 4 pocket tunic with period sewn insignia and ID’ed 1. LT Jack Simpson, O-1283860. Simpson served in the 82nd Airborne, 504th HQ Company which fought in Normandy, Rhineland and the Ardennes. The 504th was engaged in heavy battles for La Gleize. The garment is in good condition without moth damage to the cloth. One of the front buttons has been pinned on with a match, otherwise the garment is in excellent condition and would easily make a great addition to any airborne collection!
