Third pattern issue Marschkompass “A”

This is the third pattern issued example made with a bakelite housing and with a capital “A” on top which indicates a clockwise 64 Mills direction. The production of this third pattern started post May 1944. The compass is in excellent condition and still complete with its factory issue shortened string. Sadly the compass is missing one screw on the back. Very nice late war “A” marked compass!

The scabbard retains its factory applied brown paint finish. The grip retains both of its insignia. The nickel plated crossguard has some damages. The scabbard still retains its RZM marked leather hanger. Beautiful bladed dagger!

€4,850.00Rare British Assault Jerkin marked V&G 1943, size large. These assault Jerkins were issued to several British and Canadian units during the D-Day operation. The vest is a rare large size and is in good used and issued (!) condition. The vest been modified by slightly replacing the male part of the waist strap to the right for a tighter fit as the size is large. There is some foam remnants inside the shoulders. The vest is a beautiful display piece for any D-Day oriented collection and a used example is what you should look for for a serious collection!

Rare speckled brown green canteen cup marked F7/K
€600.00Rare speckled brown green bakelite canteen cup marked F7 K in goodcondition. This is one of the rarest coloured canteen cups. The material marked as K is a fine marbled Urea resin often referred to as bakelite. The speckled colours show a dominant brown undertone. This example is in very good condition with only minor damages. These coloured cups were always found on 0,5 Liter capacity water bottles. This is a very rare example, of a handfull known examples. This is a double from my collection which otherwise would never leave. Scarce opportunity to acquire one of the rarest bakelite canteen cups!

The canteen is matching and nicely marked VDNS 34 which indicates production by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke/Nickel-und Stahlwerke, Schwerte in 1934. The flask itself is also marked DRP Str. which indicates Deutsche Reichs Post. The canteen features a small repair to the leather where the carbine hook is attached. Textbook early example which would be hard to upgrade!

Rare unmarked Hitlerjugend belt buckle
€185.00Rare original most probably Flemish made steel Hitlerjugend belt buckle in unissued condition. The buckle is a typical, Flemish made example with the tell tale silver paint with soldered catch and a typical non-RZM quality overall. There is discussion about the manufacturer of these buckles but the design and finish of these buckles is typical for the Flemish production for me. These buckles where recently found in the former Hitlerjugend recruitment office in Brugge, Belgium. Of a small number of buckles found I have the opportunity to offer you several examples. There will not be a restock of these buckles as the source is empty.

Interestingly there is an extra period applied leather tab which prevents wear from the buckle to the uniform. Very nice example!
