Tan MG34 u. MG42 ammunition case
€175.00A very nice tan camouflaged ammunition box for the MG34 and MG42. As the Germans occupied Czechoslovakia they took over most of their military stocks including weapons and equipment. This box for the Czech ZB 37 machine gun or MG 37 (t) originally had a slope welded inside to stack the ZB ammunition properly. This slope was removed by the Germans and the leftover holes filled in prior to a tan repaint. A rare box to encounter in very good condition with most of the wartime tan camouflage!

€850.00Textbook, untouched Heer EM / NCO Pionier or Pioneer visor by Extra Klasse. This is a nice example in untouched and uncleaned condition. The visor has some moth damages but is otherwise a nice undamaged example. The visor retains its nice thick felt body with black felt piping and original chinstrap. The sweatband is present and reinforced with a newspaper folded underneath. The sweatshield is damaged but clearly reads Extra Klasse which is a desired maker marking. There is a sizetag 55 inside which I deem the correct size. Nice example!

€900.00Textbook Heer EM / NCO Infanterie visor by Spezialhaus Globus with the unit marking 1./M.G. Btl. 6. The visor is in very good condition with original insignia and chinstrap. The visor is a good size 57. Inside the sweatband there is nice unit marking to Maschinengewehr Batallion 6 which was attatched to the 9. Armeekorps and used within the 56 Infanterie Division during the 1940 campaigns in the West. The unit comprised two companies of motorbike infantry, three companies of heavy MG’s and a heavy company with 8 cm mortars and antitankguns. Very nice and unit marked example from a rare visor manufacturer!

Rare highlight pencils or Landkarten-Stifte Nr. 541 by Eberhard Faber
€300.00Excellent and rare highlight pencils or Krokierstiften by Eberhard Faber in very good condition. These sets of pencils were very popular among officers and NCO’s and other troops which worked with maps. Easy to keep with you and perfect to clarify and mark maps! The case is still in good condition and the labels are still readable. The label clearly reads: “Landkarten-Stifte Nr. 541“. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Taktik-etui) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). This is one of the rarer products to find from the Eberhard Faber product line and this example comes straight out of my personal collection! Belongs in any map-case collection!

Rare Eberhard Faber Taktik-Etui Nr. 542
€575.00Very rare and extremely scarce Eberhard Faber Taktik-Etui Nr. 542 in excellent condition. The pouch features all 4 coloured (yellow, red, blue & black) propelling pencils which are all undamaged and complete with their fillings inside! The pouch also contains its original tube for spare fillings. The pouch only misses the “Marschleistungen” measurement tool and the eraser which are virtually always missing from these sets. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Some stitching on the belt loop has come loose as can be clearly seen. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

‘Last Ditch’ coconut canteen
€170.00‘Last Ditch’ coconut canteen in good condition. These coconut canteens with simplified harnesses are of a unknown, exact specific design. Collectors discuss two possible specific uses for this design. One being that they are post war reissued with a simplified harness. The second is that they are unfinished examples that have been hastily fitted with a make shift strap and cap system in 1945 as a ‘last ditch’ effort. One could argue that they should have then been dated 1945 but this is not per se a must. I have observed many(!) 1942 and 1943 with 1944 dated buckles. This is a indication that either they kept using the 1941, 1942 and 1943 molds up until 1945 ór simply still had stock which could explain the fact that no coconut canteen bodies are produced in 1944. For a early post war manufacture it would not be logical that the straps would vary as much as they do because a post war peace time manufacture would not have the need utilising every single scrap piece of leather. Nor would it be a necessity in a post war Germany littered with wartime uniforms, equipment and for sure canteens.
This is for me, the most logical explanation that this is a ‘last ditch’ effort in fielding these otherwise unfinished canteens or produced from 1942 molds. Rare variant!

The green painted flask is nicely marked kvu which is the late war replacement for RFI which indicates production by Rudolf Fissler KG, Idar-Oberstein in 1944. The cup is matching to the canteen and nicely marked RFI 43 which indicates its most probable production very early in 1944. The canteen is in unissued condition and would be very hard to upgrade!

€300.00Stunning and textbook late war M42 canteen in close to mint, most likely unissued condition. The canteen is a typical late war example with a rough wool cover with small press studs and black straps. The flask itself is marked SMM 45 and the cup is marked SMM 44 which in my opinion indicates a factory mismatched example produced by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach in early 1945 with left over stock from 1944. Excellent late war M42 which would be hard to upgrade!

Rare M42 canteen marked AEMA with brown enameled cup
€375.00M42 Feldflasche by AEMA indicating indicating production by Annweiler Email-u.Metall-Werke, Annweil. The canteen is a late war (M42) type with a enameled steel body and cup. The cup is the last model without the handles and solely a small loop for the strap. The brown leather strap is a two piece M42 type. Sadly the buckle on the straps has broken off. The cover is made out of gaberdine and has 3, not 4, press studs. The canteen is in excellent unissued condition. Possibly one of the rarest canteens to find!

The red painted steel flask itself is nicely marked sku 45 (Late war 3-letter code for MN) which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar in 1945! The canteen features a typical late war gabardine cover and the way the carbine hook is attached inside out is a typical late war feature as well. Typical last ditch example in configuration with a black phenolic resin (bakelite) cup!
