The cap retains its original lining and sweatband but in my opinion, at some point the insignia was reapplied. The cap is a good medium size for most modern militaria mannequins. Beautiful example really!

Short M38 gasmask set
€350.00Typical short M38 canister dated 1937. It was first issued in the typical pre war green colour and was repainted with a brush applied dark green colour when the war progressed. It retains its pre war straps with leather reinforcements. The mask is a nice A1B variant with 1937 dated filter. The mask and the canister retain the same number. Nice used set!

€350.00Tall M38 gasmask set with field applied Feldgrau paint named Obergefreiter Imm 42931. The gasmask set is in good used condition and is complete with all parts. The straps retain their leather reinforcements. The feldpostnummer 42931 indicates a barrage balloon unit but was later reissued to Artillerie Regiment 136 late in 1944, serving with the 16 Volksgrenadier Division during the Ardennes offensive. Beautiful set, nice for further research!

Late war M38 gasmask in tall canister
€350.00Textbook gasmask set consisting out of a late war manufactured green canvas gasmask and a tall canister. The mask itself is a nice example manufactured out of green rubber with blue painted hardware. The canister still contains its cleaning cloth, spring and Klarscheiben. The canister is complete with its original attached carrying straps from which one has a rubberized end point. All parts are in very good condition and the canister retains up to 95% of its rough factory applied paint. Very nice set in hard to find complete and near mint condition.

€1,775.00Rare bakelite 6×30 Dienstglas marked CXN 414908 in good used condition. The binoculars are in good condition, the bakelite is in good condition. Both hinges are functional but the lowe hinge shows a glued repair. This is hardly visible and does not deduct from the functionality of the hinge. The oculars are loose as always but firmly attatched. The lower dust rings are present. The hardware is made in a blue and tan factory finish. The serial is 414908. The hinges are the model with large aperture. The strap, rubber rain cover and button flap are present. The binoculars are in excellent condition and very hard to find in undamaged condition!
The binoculars are optically OK but this can always be cleaned or improved; I will not touch or clean any of my optics.

The Dienstglas is nicely marked ddx which indicates production by Voigtländer. The strap is original to the piece but shortened. This is typical as the long strap makes it cumbersome to run with.

€325.00Excellent late war set consisting of a tall canister and a typical late war M38 mask with blue painted hardware. The canister is complete with both its short and long carrying strap and features a very interesting label on the inside. The label is unit marked, dated 1944 and named to Fw. (Feldwebel) Karl Ladage, the label seems to be used to note training in gas chambers and these were supposed to be attached to or in the Soldbuch. Very interesting complete gas masker set which would be perfect for further research!
