Pre war Dutch helmet

Pre war Dutch helmet in good condition. This is the typical helmet as worn by the Dutch army troops defending my home country in the German invasion in May 1940.  The helmet retains its original liner marked ‘De Volharding’ which is a less common liner maker. The helmet retains its original paint and metal lion plate. The helmet retains its period applied dull green camouflage paint.
