German scale 1:40 000 map – Spa

German scale 1:40 000 map – Spa in good used condition. Marked not to be used as artillery range finding map. Nice example that sums up the Ardennes area of operation during the Ardennes offensive.

The map shows the towns of La Gleize, Stoumont, Cheneux, Grand-Coo, Spa, Rahier and a part of the Hautes Fagnes marsh area which was the drop zone of FJR6. Interestingly it marks the marshy area as being wet. This is a hand applied period marking to the map, not printed.
