Militaria

My main collecting interest has always been field gear and small personal items. These things always breathe the period since they are the items the regular soldier had to do with. I specialize in these items and strive to offer nice and interesting items.
The items offered here are all guaranteed original and unaltered period pieces produced before May 1945 unless stated otherwise.

  • Rare blood stained Waffen-SS Totenkopf M43 EM Field blouse

    New
    9,500.00

Rare blood stained Waffen-SS Totenkopf M43 EM Field blouse in as found condition. This field blouse is a typical, late war Waffen-SS two hole variant marked SS-BW indicating SS-Bekleidungswerke. The garment was originally found in the late 1970’s and comes with a letter stating its provenance. The garment was discovered with other uniform pieces in Austria in a former field dressing station in 1977 or 1978. The garment is severly blood stained which resulted in damaged cloth. There are a number of modern patched repairs which are hard to spot externally except for the part on the lower left sleeve. The garment retains its machine sewn insignia including a zig-zag sewn sleeve eagle and straight machine stitched collar tabs. As far as I can see there are no traces of any other insignia; I believe this garment is a time capsule which other then its repairs is in my opinion untouched. The garment is a interesting historical artifact which sadly is not named or researchable as such; yet it is a interesting historical piece which would be very nice to display in a separate display case!

  • Non reversible late war matching hard edged Sumpftarn winter parka set

    3,000.00

Non reversible late war matching hard edged Sumpftarn winter parka set in excellent, in my opinion near mint condition. The set is manufactured of vibrant coloured hard edged Sumpftarn material. This is a good opportunity to acquire a matching set as would have been worn during the Ardennes Offensive. The trousers and jacket are both made by the same manufacturer with its markings reading RBNr. 0/0456/0027 indicating production by Angenete & Scholle OHG – Herford. The set is only lightly worn if at all. The garment is a good sized set for a mannequin and still retains all buttons, strings and its vibrant colours which would be hard to upgrade!

  • US M1942 paratrooper jump jacket 101st and 82nd Airborne

Textbook US M1942 paratrooper jump jacket with wartime sewn insignia. The garment is a textbook example with zinc buttons, crown zippers and its original tag reading what I perceive as size 36R. The garment retains its insignia for a technical corporal in the 82nd Airborne division. The way it is sewn is typical for Airborne troops, the small stitch and thread is typical for rigger modifications for jumpsuits. The short, tight stitch used is a textbook stitch for this type of unit. The left sleeve shows that a 101st Airborne patch was also once on that shoulder indicated that the individual soldier was switched from the 101st to the 82nd Airborne division whose patches were subsequently worn together. There 101st Airborne patch has been removed, possibly because it was field worn. The garment features a set of three straps sewn horizontally in the back which I have seen before at least two times with 101st Airborne jump jackets. This is a nice example of a untouched M1942 jump jacket with originally sewn insignia!

  • Published motorcycle Packtasche in three-tone Normandy camouflage

Beautiful and stunning display piece; This is a 1944 dated steel motorcycle case in its original wartime three-tone camouflage paint. These cases were used with military issue BMW and Zündapp motorcycles. These cases are hard to find acessories for motorcycles. The case retains up to 90% of its original spray painted three tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage pattern. The rack on the back has been removed at some point. This case would be a very nice backdrop for any camouflage oriented collection. The case was photographed and published on page 181 in Tarnfarben Vol 1 by Oliver Lock. The case was one of the central display pieces in the famous and sadly now closed museum in Baugnez, Belgium which had the best curated collection for camouflaged helmets and equipment. This is a choice piece for any serious camouflage and or vehicle collector and would be very hard to upgrade!
