The torch is marked AEG indicating production by Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft which is a very well known German electronics manufacturer who still produces household devices today. The German counterpart to the Dutch Knijpkat, this aesthetic flashlight design is in good and working condition. The bakelite is as far as I can see it undamaged!

They are all in dusty as found condition but retain 99% of their original factory finish. They are all 31 cm long. Nice to make a matching set. The price is naturally for one!

Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is in working condition but sometimes it falters a bit which is not disruptive. The “knijpkat” is in further mint condition and would look perfect in a display
