Rare Waffen-SS EM / NCO belt buckle by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid – Ground Marking variant
€1,200.00Pre RZM Neusilber SS Buckle marked O&C ges. gesch. with ground markings
Following the installation of the official Reichzeugmeisterei or RZM, all manufacturers could only sell their wares being void of any markings that could identify its maker and should only be marked with the individual RZM code identifying it. Following this; the production on and around the installment Overhoff simply ground out the identifying markings. These ground markings can be observed with the O&C ges. gesch and the full motto marked buckles. This also indicates that both of these buckles were produced in the transitional period to the RZM system in 1935. This is a very rare variant to encounter; especially with a brass core.

Rare SS-Totenkopf officer collar tab set with mirrored skulls
€6,950.00Textbook, uniform removed SS-Totenkopf officer collar tab set with mirrored skulls. This is by far one of the best Waffen-SS collar tab sets I have had the pleasure to offer. The SS-Totenkopf were were only allowed to wear the double Totenkopf collar tabs up to 1940 after wich the rank tab was introduced in the Division. The tabs are in uniform removed condition and were found with a set of matching Obersturmbanführer shoulderboards. The tabs are in as found condition with a beautiful natural wear to the Bullion which is typically impossible to fake. By far the hardest to find set of Waffen-SS collar tabs with the right and left facing skull! The tabs are hand embroidered bullion and I’m quite sure finding another set would be near impossible!

The lot was acquired by me, straight from the family. A textbook example that you would never ever have to doubt the authenticity!

The helmet started its life as a typical double decal Heer example, later repainted in a field grey layer of textured paint. Later spray painted in a tan colour that can be attributed to the Afrika Korps and troops serving in the Meditteranian. The helmet was found in the village of Isola, in the south of France in 2006. The helmet was found in an area which was heavily fought over by the 34. Infanterie Division. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and original chinstrap. One of the chinstrap bales has been damaged and was repaired with a piece of field phone wire. Nice characteristic camouflage helmet in good condition that would be hard to upgrade and comes with an interesting provenance!

US M1 front seam fixed bale helmet named Dale with early Westinghouse liner
€975.00To me this is one of the most prominent and typical US world war two issue GI helmet. The helmet has many interesting details for me which are typical to the GI’s serving in the ETO. The helmets shell has been blackened on the top which is a typical feature as most Soldiers would cook in their helmet shell on top of a fire. The interior also shows remnants of it having been used as a cooking vessel. The helmet is complete with its early Rayon tape Westinghouse liner which has been named numerous times and has numerous laundry numbers on it. This helmet is a textbook example of a GI helmet which is very hard to find. Maybe pricey but even for a textbook helmet as used with most GI’s, most of these suffered from repaints, reworks and have swivel bales. This is a textbook helmet which would be great on a Ardennes offensive display; the helmet itself was found in Luxemburg. Hard to upgrade combat piece!
