  • Published Cased Knights Cross of the iron cross by Juncker

Scarce and unique Juncker made knights cross or Ritterkreuz in its original issue case. The cross is a textbook example featured on page 229 Dietrich Maerz’s book; The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross (9780979796906). The cross is unique as it’s the only known cross marked L/13.

The cross comes with its textbook original cardboard case in which the cross and its ribbon fit perfectly. The case is complete with its original functional closing latch and a near mint outer finish that has been well preserved. The case comes with its original, folded ribbon that in my opinion never was unrolled.

The Knights cross has a typical Juncker frame and loop with all the ‘Juncker signs‘ present. The core also came form a known Juncker die with the 1813 date being double stamped, slightly changing its thickness. Most of the black paint is still present and only slight dark red spotting has developed over the years. Given that no other Meybauer(L/13) knight crosses are known and both Meybauer and Juncker are Berlin makers this piece was mostlily bought by Meybauer for reselling purposes. This was done by many makers and a fast amount of different products meant for resell are categorised over the last couple years. As of yet still the only known period L/13 marked Juncker produced knights cross making this a unique piece!

A extremely scarce set of two magazine pouches for the MKB 42 assault rifle.  Probably one of the rarest magazine pouches produced during the second world war. The first type of pouches has the same direction of the magazine compartments pointing inwards. In the later models these where the magazines curved out of the way of the body. Most probably due to the magazines sticking into ones abdomen whilst going prone. The wearer at some point removed the internal waist belt buckle by sewing a button to the waist. This could easily be restored yet the garment is untouched and was worn as is. The garment was worn and washed during its service hence it’s pockets retain a light blue hue inside. Otherwise the colours are vibrant and exactly how they should be. A rare opportunity to purchase real Waffen-SS camouflage Panzer trousers in Erbsentarn camouflage fabric!

  • Rare Luftwaffe M43 Hermann Göring division field blouse

Rare Luftwaffe M43 field blouse with factory sewn breast eagle and Hermann Göring cufftitle. These jackets were issued in the final months of the war and was specifically made for the Hermann Göring division. Not do be confused with a Heer M43 field jacket, this example is a Luftwaffe made, field grey field blouse. The breast eagle is zigzag sewn in a typical fashion for these garments. The cufftitle on the sleeve is typical and also factory sewn; probably the only wartime made garment with a factory sewn cufftitle. These late war, unpiped shoulderstraps were issued with the late issue field grey four pocket Luftwaffe M43 field blouse. These straps have no piping which in my opinion is logical. Being of a field grey in stead of a Luftwaffe blue wool, it would be very hard finding shoulderstraps in matching wool colour. In my opinion these were intended for the unit to apply their own piping like the late war piped Hermann Göring collar tabs. The straps are typical late war examples with simplified construction. Similar examples with the same sewing can be found here and here. Scarce and choice piece, for sure one of the rarest Luftwaffe garments I’ve had to offer!

  • Waffen-SS field blouse SS-Sturmscharführer der Artillerie

Untouched Waffen-SS field blouse with period sewn insignia. Excellent privately tailored Waffen-SS field blouse for a SS-Sturmscharführer in a (Sturm)Artillerie unit. The garment is in clearly field worn condition with 4 period sewn award loops. These unrestored SS field blouses are one of the rarest things to find and for sure a centerpiece in any SS collection!

  • Rare published Waffen-SS M42 smock in Polyspot camouflage

A original Waffen-SS M42 Polyspot(!) camouflage smock or Tarnjacke in combat worn condition. A typical example of a modified smock as was done a lot with these smocks. The garment has many rips and repairs but retains its stunning bright colours. The M42 smock in Polyspot camouflage is one of the rarest smocks out there and there are only a handful surviving examples. The details on the smock are made in blurred edge with the elastics tunneled in overprint material. The garment is published in Uniforms of the Waffen-SS: Volume 2 by Michael D. Beaver on page 838. This period modified smock is a prime example as a Waffen-SS camouflage smock in combat worn condition and surely one of the very few surviving Polyspot camouflage smocks!

  • Second pattern Waffen-SS helmet cover in plane tree camouflage

Rare textbook second pattern Waffen-SS plane tree overprint camouflage pattern cover in combat used condition. The cover is constructed from plane tree hand screened and overprint material utilizing single needle sewing machines. The cover retains all of its originally sewn loops and vibrant colours in the camouflage pattern that really pops in hand. The cover is photographed on a size 64 shell but with some patience also fits a size 66 M40. The size 2 is marked on the auttumn size. The cover is in very good used condition and unlike many “mint” oak covers flooding the market today – this is a actually worn piece with loads of patina that is very hard to find.

  • Stone mint Sumpftarn Fallschirmjäger smock R.b.Nr. 0/1337/0015

Superb and unissued late war Fallschirmjäger smock in stone mint condition. The smock is a textbook late war example as used and issued for the Ardennes offensive. The smock is a typical late war example executed in thin material. This Fallschirmjäger smock was never issued. The breasteagle is period factory sewn to the smock, not through the breast pocket. The smock is a large size easily fitting most if not all mannequins. This piece really is superb and would be very hard to upgrade.

  • Rare battle damaged ET66 double decal Waffen-SS helmet

    8,250.00

Rare battle damaged ET66 double decal Waffen-SS helmet in good used condition. This helmet is a typical battle damaged example with a clear bullet hole just above the swastika decal. This is a rare early M40 helmet produced with two decals. The helmet is in very good condition retaining up to 75% of its original paint finish and up to 85% of its decals. Hard to upgrade example!

  • Rare SS-Totenkopf officer collar tab set with mirrored skulls

    8,250.00

Textbook, uniform removed SS-Totenkopf officer collar tab set with mirrored skulls. This is by far one of the best Waffen-SS collar tab sets I have had the pleasure to offer. The SS-Totenkopf were were only allowed to wear the double Totenkopf collar tabs up to 1940 after wich the rank tab was introduced in the Division. The tabs are in uniform removed condition and were found with a set of matching Obersturmbanführer shoulderboards. The tabs are in as found condition with a beautiful natural wear to the Bullion which is typically impossible to fake. By far the hardest to find set of Waffen-SS collar tabs with the right and left facing skull! The tabs are hand embroidered bullion and I’m quite sure finding another set would be near impossible!

  • Rare late war Oak leaf camouflage smock

Rare original Waffen-SS camouflage smock in Oak leaf or Eichenlaubmuster in good used condition marked 329 in the left spring pocket flap. The smock is probably the last model of camouflage smock to be developed for the Waffen-SS. These smocks where made from a narrower bolt of material as used on the ‘4-Panel’ Zeltbahns constructed with separately sewn corners. The material used is very thin, if you hold it against the light you can look through it which reflects the late war ‘quality’ the Waffen-SS was dressed with. These smocks where most probably made between 1944 and 1945. The condition of the smock is with wear; there are a few small damages and some of the stitching is damaged. The smock retains the full original tunneled elastic but is no longer functional. I have seen a couple of mint examples of these smocks; but this is the first actually worn example I’ve seen. If you’re after a rare Waffen-SS combat worn Eichenlaubmuster camouflage smock; this is it!

  • Stunning woodwork camouflaged M38 paratrooper helmet grouping

Exceptional woodwork find camouflaged M38 paratrooper helmet from Musselkanaal, the Netherlands. This helmet and other items where worn by a Fallschirmjäger in the Netherlands. The items are all found together in a house in Musselkanaal. The story comes directly from the previous owner who owned the group for over 70 years is that a young Czech paratrooper in 1945 seeked refuge from the war with civilians after fierce battles. The civilians in Musselkanaal took him in and dressed him in a blue coverall with wooden shoes to hide him from the Germans and the NSB neighbour. They burnt his uniform but kept the helmet, mapcase, pocket book, holster and fighting knife. Because of the language barrier they called him “Loekie”. Loekie lived with the family for over a year in hiding and left just after the war. Loekie was most probably member of the 6th or 8th Fallschirmdivision. The helmet and group are exactly how they where found on the attic when the house was passed down from father to son.

The helmet is marked CKL68 indicating production by Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale. The helmet retains its original liner and personalized chinstrap. The helmet is in good worn and untouched(!) condition with a nice and vibrant handpainted camouflage pattern. All 4 bolts are original to the helmet and are covered in paint. The aluminum bolts are The helmet retains its original named size 57 liner and its personalized chinstrap. The chinstrap was modified during the war. One of the rear bolts is a wartime replacement.

The mapcase is a standard Luftwaffe pattern brown mapcase with aluminum buckles. The boot knife or Luftwaffe Stiefelmesser is nicely marked “S”. The (empty) holster is a privately purchased holster for a small calibre pocket pistol. The pocketbook comes with a few notes that I’m unable to decypher but comes with a number of feldpost numbers. The group comes with a small correspondence with the finder of the group, who can also vet the story.

The helmet and grouping is a spectacular example of a named group with provenance. It is especially rare to find a original camouflaged M38 helmet in good used condition, let alone as a group. This group would be impossible to upgrade – if you want a camouflaged helmet that was worn during the battles in the Netherlands this is it!

    New

  • Impressive US 82nd airborne grouping Robert L. Taylor HQ Co. 504 PIR

Excellent uniform grouping to Private Robert L. Taylor, T5. The grouping consists of his M1942 jump suit, his ike jacket, a set of tan leather gloves, the Saga of the 82nd Airborne division, trouser belt and a beanie cap. The items have been obtained directly from Taylor and come with a signed letter of provenance stating the source. Robert L. Taylor was a close friend to Bachenheimer who was a well known individual in the 82nd airborne division and they did many recon missions together. The group would be hard to upgrade and a perfect base for further research. I enclose a copy of his honorable discharge papers with more informations. He fought in Sicily, Normandy, Naples-Foggia, Rhineland, Rome-Arno, Central Europe and Ardennes – I am sure there is more to find on him!

  • Perfect Heer Panzergrenadier EM M40 tropical cap marked Carl Halfar 1940

Excellent and impossible to upgrade heer M40 tropical field cap marked Carl Halfar 1940. The cap retains its factory sewn insignia original to the cap, the application is typical for this maker. The cap is nicely marked Carl Halfar 1940 in the size 55. The cap is constructed exactly how it should for this maker. This is one of the rarer and most desirable caps, in the most desirable condition and green Waffenfarbe for Panzergrenadiere. The cap has a period applied leather sweatband marked C. Pose Wehrausrustungen 1940. The cap was probably issued, never worn and or sent home immediately. This is the best tropical field cap I’ve ever had the pleasure to offer, a must have for any Afrikakorps collector
