Stunning original M40 Heer chickenwire in three-tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage
Simply the best chickenwire helmet I’ve had to offer! A truly spectacular example of a Heer single decal M40 helmet marked ET64 with a wartime added half basket chickenwire cover overpainted in three-tone Normandy camouflage. The chickenwire is the typical wartime used type as used to camouflage bunkers and positions. The chickenwire was period applied and has never been removed from the helmet. The chickenwire was over sprayed and retains tan, green and red paint vividly. Underneath the chickenwire retains 75 years of dust and patina; the helmet is a untouched and uncleaned example. The camouflage paint is vibrant and in good condition with loads of patina all over. Closeups of the paint show lots of cracks and patina. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and period attached chinstrap which have always been with the helmet. The helmet is named Gefr. Striewe in the skirt of the helmet. This is simply the best helmet I’ve found in the last 10 years and would be a prime piece in any helmet collection – surely a one looker original and véry hard to upgrade.

Rare MP44 pouch set marked JWA 44 mkb 42
Rare MP44 pouch set marked JWA 44 and mkb 42 indicating production by Moritz Stecher, Lederwerk, Freiburg. The pouches are both in very good, unused condition and show a typical mix of fabric, sewing techniques and thread used in the construction. These pouches are slightly different which is completely normal for these late war pouches mostly made from scrap material. The pouches retain all 6 closing straps with typical woven holes and metal lux points. The straps are handsewn to the front of the closing flaps which is typical for the pouches made by Moritz Stecher. The closing flaps are lined in leather with the sides in yellow Pressstoff. Very hard to find a pair of pouches, left and right, by the same manufacturer, year and condition. This pair comes from my personal collection and is only for sale because I’m chasing another variant pair. Choice pouches!

The elastic is tunneled in hand screened plane tree and has never been opened. The smock has few tears at the armpits but is in overall good condition. Rare late Waffen-SS Erbsentarn pattern Panzer trousers in smooth cotton marked 393
Extremely scarce original Waffen-SS Panzer crew member trousers in smooth Erbsentarn camouflage fabric. One of a handful known in the collector community; this is the pinnacle of collecting camouflage items of the utmost rarity. The trousers are in very good, IMO lightly worn condition. The garment retains all but one factory sewn buttons. There is a small period handsewn repair to the back of the seat, otherwise it’s undamaged. Both leg tie straps are intact as is the internal belt and the inside pockets. The trousers are in a good, medium to large size fitting most modern sized mannequins. The garment is marked 393 which is the only known maker for these trousers in this material and a typical Waffen-SS manufacturer code. There are some light paint stains on the trousers which don’t distract too much of the vibrant and contrast-filled colours of the Erbsentarn pattern used in the construction for these trousers. A rare opportunity to purchase real Waffen-SS camouflage Panzer trousers in smooth(!) material!
I usually don’t post items to the top; but this one deserves a spot next to the Black SS Panzer wrapper!

Published Cased Knights Cross of the iron cross by Juncker
Scarce and unique Juncker made knights cross or Ritterkreuz in its original issue case. The cross is a textbook example featured on page 229 Dietrich Maerz’s book; The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross (9780979796906). The cross is unique as it’s the only known cross marked L/13.
The cross comes with its textbook original cardboard case in which the cross and its ribbon fit perfectly. The case is complete with its original functional closing latch and a near mint outer finish that has been well preserved. The case comes with its original, folded ribbon that in my opinion never was unrolled.
The Knights cross has a typical Juncker frame and loop with all the ‘Juncker signs‘ present. The core also came form a known Juncker die with the 1813 date being double stamped, slightly changing its thickness. Most of the black paint is still present and only slight dark red spotting has developed over the years. Given that no other Meybauer(L/13) knight crosses are known and both Meybauer and Juncker are Berlin makers this piece was mostlily bought by Meybauer for reselling purposes. This was done by many makers and a fast amount of different products meant for resell are categorised over the last couple years. As of yet still the only known period L/13 marked Juncker produced knights cross making this a unique piece!

The runic collar tab is a high quality hand embroided example matching to the rank insignia in wool and size. The cuff title is a textbook RZM type machine embroided example, wartime sewn to the French cuff of the blouse. Unique Waffen-SS helmet with original oak leaf cover found in Mons, Belgium
Superb and surely stunning original Waffen-SS helmet with the original Waffen-SS oakleaf cover it was found 4 years ago in Mons, Belgium. The helmet and its cover both show the same wear, patina and the cover surely is a exact fit. The cover retains the shape without the helmet and the helmet or its cover have not been cleaned after the find. The cover left the imprint of the seams and wrinkles on the helmet shell. It is unmistakable that this cover spent the last 75 years on top of this helmet. The cover is a textbook oakleaf example with anodized aluminum hooks finished with single needle sewing machine.
