  • Rare Dutch army M33 helmet

    425.00

Rare Dutch M33 helmet in untouched condition. This is the typical helmet as worn by the Dutch army troops defending my home country in the German invasion in May 1940. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and chinstrap. The helmet retains mostof its original factory attatched lion plate and paint externally. Inside the rear skirt of the helmet there is a name. The felt inside the helmets liner has been removed. This is not a weird modification as these helmets were all made in one size and it sounds logically for a soldier to increase the helmets liner size by removing it. Hard to upgrade and hard to find example!
