Rare Waffen-SS EM / NCO belt buckle by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid – Ground Marking variant
€1,200.00Pre RZM Neusilber SS Buckle marked O&C ges. gesch. with ground markings
Following the installation of the official Reichzeugmeisterei or RZM, all manufacturers could only sell their wares being void of any markings that could identify its maker and should only be marked with the individual RZM code identifying it. Following this; the production on and around the installment Overhoff simply ground out the identifying markings. These ground markings can be observed with the O&C ges. gesch and the full motto marked buckles. This also indicates that both of these buckles were produced in the transitional period to the RZM system in 1935. This is a very rare variant to encounter; especially with a brass core.

Rare Belgian made Luftwaffe belt buckle

The buckle is a typical Belgian product with its base material in Zinc and the typical large prong bar retaining stud which is bigger then the well known Rodo variants. Unlike the few other Belgian made variants I have seen this example is factory finished in blue paint in stead of the usual silver paint finish. These buckles were also used by the Belgian factory guards and NSKK members. This is a very hard buckle to find, and probably unique with its original blue paint finish!

Impressive Luftwaffe Afrika photo album with Panzer, artillery and aircraft
€1,400.00Impressive Luftwaffe Afrika photo album with Panzer, artillery and aircraft in good condition. The album is well filled and has approximately 300 photos. The images show the Afrika campaign trough the eyes of a enlisted man serving with a Flak and Aircraft maintenance crewmember. It is mainly focussed on vehicles; be it tanks, trucks and aircraft. It seems that late in 1942 he was wounded and sent back to Germany to recover. This is probably also the reason he was not taken prisoner when the southern front fell. On the first page there is a Russian receipt for food in the Russian POW camp 147. It seems he was sent to the eastern front after healing from his wounds. The photoalbum is really impressive regarding the large number of vehicle and aircraft photos!
