The breadbag is marked 10 39 RADBA5 which indicates this example was issued to the Reichsarbeitsdienst in October 1939. Excellent RAD issue breadbag in good used but not abused condition!

There is discussion about the manufacturer of these buckles but the design and finish of these buckles is typical for the Flemish production for me. These buckles where recently found in the former Hitlerjugend recruitment office in Brugge, Belgium. Of 26 buckles found I have the opportunity to offer you several examples. There will not be a restock of these buckles as the source is empty.

€125.00Rare original deathcard to Unteroffizier u. Gruppenführer Josef Samberger in einer Flammenwerferabteilung killed in action 2km south of former Kirikukula, Estonia. There are several Kirikukula’s to be found in Estonia but as Samberger’s remains are buried in Jöhvi this indicates that he was killed in action near Narva. And indeed, there is a Kirikukula straight next to Narva, which was totally destroyed during the battle for Narva but never rebuilt after the war. A very rare deathcard to find with potential to further research!
