The holster is nicely marked eue/41 which indicates production by Otto Reichel, Jnh. Rudolf Fischer, Lederwarenfabrik, Lengefeld/Erzgeb in 1941. The holster is in excellent condition without any damages or alterations.

Excellent blue MP38 u. MP40 magazine pouch in good used condition. The pouch is nicely marked dkk 42 which would indicate production by Friedrich Offermann u. Söhne, Lederwarenfabrik, Bensberg. The pouch is executed in nice blue canvas with brown leather and grey/blueish canvas for the closing flaps which is typical for this manufacturer. Nice original blue MP 40 magazine pouch!

Rare allied D-Day map set ‘Invade Mecum’
€1,950.00Rare allied D-Day map set ‘Invade Mecum’. This set was issued to platoon commanders and contained an intricate set of maps of Normandy. Next to the maps are a set of intelligence manuals containing area information including detailed maps which show terrain, roads, buildings and their specific use. An officer’s set of military intelligence manuals for Normandy and Pas de Calais, distributed for the D-Day landings and compiled by the British Directorate of Military Survey, with maps and details of the towns, roads, industries and railways, sourced from both resistance information and from standard French mapping. These guides provided essential information for any unit moving through the countryside, the text and maps give copious details of each town and village. The efficiency and completeness of these manuals demonstrate the state and extent of the preparedness of the Allies for the Invasion of Europe. Volumes 1,2 and 5, (not present here), covered Brittany and other regions of France. These sets were issued to both Officers, and Platoon Commanders. A very rare set which would compliment any D-Day related collection!

Rare second pattern brown butterdish

Sadly the lid has a small damage to it but it can still be opened and closed. Uncommon brown coloured variant with large flakes of filler material which clearly shows on the outside. Note that this is not a brown 1944 dated example form the hoard find but a rare brown variation!

The case is manufactured out of black bakelite with leather straps (pressstoff pull tab) which are still all present and undamaged. The binoculars are complete with all of its accessories; leather rain cover, neck strap and button loop, most of them with a pre war WaA. The binoculars are from a typical pre war high and heavy quality with brass in the construction. The optics are clear and the Strichplatte still retains in the right ocular as it should. Sadly one bakelite eye cup has a damage to it. Excellent untouched pre war Dienstglas!

Rare brown pebbled leather K98 bayonet frog
€100.00Rare K98 bayonet frog manufactured out of brown pebbled leather. This is the first bayonet frog I have ever encountered which is manufactured from pebbled leather. The frog features a hole in the back which was used to hang the bayonet in the soldiers locker. The frog is most likely from a dress bayonet but this is not 100% sure. Nice and rare aesthetic example!

Rare set of combat pioneer side pouches with dark green coarse webbing straps
€950.00Excellent and extremely rare set of side pouches for combat pioneers. The bag features extremely rare and hardly ever encountered dark green coarse webbing straps. These straps have only been encountered at these combat pioneer pouches, or canteens as far as my knowledge goes. All by all equipment which features this dark green coarse webbing is extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors. The set is in very good condition, it has one small repair and the long back straps has been reattached at some point. One of the two pouches features an ink stamp from postwar Czech storage, but these bags definitely belong to each other. The atypical construction of this pouch with a range of different materials including the dark green coarse webbing makes this set impossible to upgrade. For sure one of the best sets of combat pioneer pouches I have ever offered!

These manuals are very thorough and they talk over every single aspect the German soldier was taught in. The book contains German history, Drills, Mannerisms, squad formations, weapons handling, shooting and maintenance, airplane recognition, horse riding, ranks, how to behave/write/talk, heavy weapons and so on. These where brought out in different versions, this one being the variant for the “Nachrichtensoldaten” or communication troops. This example is the 1937-1938 print and is in overall very good, readable condition!

Waffen-SS M42 Blurred Edge camouflage smock
€14,000.00Rare Waffen-SS M42 Blurred Edge camouflage smock in good condition. The smock retains its vivid print and colours and would be a real stunner on a mannequin display. The garment is a typical late war M42 style example with factory sewn foliage loops. At some point the foliage loops on the front have been removed. The body is made out of Blurred Edge material with some of the loops, pocket lining and sleeves in Plane Tree. The smock is in light worn condition and has one rip in the material at the elbow, and a small damage in the back just above the elastic tunnel. The elastic is removed which seems to be a typical period modification. A excellent Waffen-SS camouflage uniform in good used condition!
