The top of the visor is made out of stone grey felt, which is a beautiful and uncommon feature. The sweatband is made out of Pressstoff. The cap has a beautiful worn shape that would be a great attribute for a mannequin or displayed as is!

Rare US M1 fixed bale helmet 88th Infantry Division
€1,800.00Textbook US M1 fixed bale helmet with period painted insignia for the 88th Infantry Division. The helmet is a typical fixed bale M1 helmet with both loops intact. Externally the helmet retains up to 85% of its wartime paint including its wartime hand painted unit insignia. The US 88th Infantry division saw heavy combat in the Italian theatre and this is exactly where this helmet was left behind and later found by a collector. Very hard to find original painted US M1 helmet from a well known unit!

Rare bringback VZ24 bayonet by dot 43 with last ditch frog named to Jim Ramey
€600.00Textbook VZ24 bayonet manufactured for German usage by/in Czechislovakia. The bayonet is nicely marked dot 43 which indicates production by BRNO Czechoslovakia (Waffewerke Brunn) in 1943. The bayonet is complete with its original frog, which is a rare last ditch example. The bayonet frog has the name Jim Ramey scratched inside of the leather part. This bayonet is a nice veteran ringback souvenir consisting out of already rare items on their own. Superb set which deserves research into the name Jim Ramey for sure!
