Textbook Coconut canteen marked HRE 43

Textbook issue coconut canteen marked HRE 42 indicating production by Heinrich Ritter, Esslingen. The canteen is in very nice, untouched condition and is complete with its original cup. The bakelite drinking cup is a very nice unmarked black example. Typical late war example with multiple shades of webbing and a rough finish on the canteen body.
