    Rubberized gascape pouch with press stud closure in unissued condition. The gascape pouch is in unissued and uncleaned condition. The pouch shows a lot of original talc powder which was used for long term storage. I have a small quantity of these gascape pouches in stock; the price is naturally for one and I will always pick out a nice example. There are several different maker markings but all are made of rubber and have a press stud closing method. The pouches can be a bit wrinkled but could easily be cleaned with a damp cloth or displayed as is. Nice unissued example!

The flask and felt is marked HRE 42, but the lid is marked HRE 43 indicating it was produced in early 1943, surely one of the last M31 canteens they produced!

This canteen comes with a typical small aluminium cup which is unpainted and unmarked but textbook for this canteen! Perfect example which would be impossible to upgrade!

    Textbook late war M42 canteen in very good condition. The canteen is a typical late war example with a rough wool cover and mixed pebbled and smooth leather on the straps. The green painted flask is nicely marked kvu which is the late war replacement for RFI which indicates production by Rudolf Fissler KG, Idar-Oberstein in 1944. The cup is matching to the canteen and nicely marked RFI 43 which indicates its most probable production very early in 1944. The canteen is in unissued condition and would be very hard to upgrade!

    Excellent late war produced M42 canteen in configuration with matching enameled cup. This canteen comes in a very interesting and unusual but still matching configuration! The flask and cup are both a typical late war steel enameled type covered with rough green paint based on the steel M42 pattern canteens. Both the cup and flask are marked AEMA which indicates production by Annweiler Email-u.Metall-Werke in 1943. Excellent and rare to find canteen in this condition!

All parts are nicely marked L&SL 41 which indicates production by Linnepe & Schiffer Metallwarenfabrik, Lüdenscheid. Sadly the leather strap which is attached to the screw cap is broken. Very nice and textbook M31 canteen which would be hard to upgrade!

The red painted steel flask itself is nicely marked sku 45 (Late war 3-letter code for MN) which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar in 1945! The canteen features a typical late war gabardine cover and the way the carbine hook is attached inside out is a typical late war feature as well. Typical last ditch example in configuration with a black phenolic resin (bakelite) cup!
