The accessories are however in good functional condition. These are virtually always missing from the cases and binoculars themselves. One of the rubber eyepieces is damaged, the other is in good condition, regardless they are always missing from the case. This is a perfect set to complete yours!

Unissued and rare M31 breadbag manufactured with British webbing in Litzmannstadt
€225.00Very nice “tropical” M31 breadbag in good condition. This breadbag is most likely made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the (BEF) British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent this British equipment to Litzmannstadt for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. Y-straps, A-frames and rucksacks are a few of the items made in Litzmannstadt. Very nice original M31 breadbag!

The zipper has big metal fittings so that can be used when wearing thick gloves. The bag is nicely marked with Baumuster 3122 and L38054 which are typical Luftwaffe markings, interestingly it also features a red ink stamped WaA marking. It is a bit unclear if these pouches carried 4 complete boxes of flare cartridges or that it contained 4 FLAK headsets. Rare Luftwaffe issue bag in excellent condition!
