Textbook medium mesh sized helmet net in perfect condition as used by most if not all of the allied troops in the ETO. These helmet nets came out of storage and need to be stretched a bit before fitting to a US or MKII helmet. Hard to find and textbook world war two issue helmet net in unissued condition! Excellent first pattern orange coloured butterdish in overall very good condition. The butterdish remains its bright orange colour. The butterdish is unmarked which is a bit harder to encounter than marked first pattern orange examples. The resin is undamaged as for a small crack which seems not to be all the way trough the material! Very nice example!

With boots often being blackened, polished and greased this was a helpful tool in keeping your hands tidy. Textbook piece in good condition with as far as I can tell no wood worm or rot.
