The set consists out of 4 maps which shows Belgium and its surroundings with a focus on the big and important roads.  The set also features a map which shows the area of the battle of the bulge and their most important crossroads. Very nice set!

  • M42 enameled messkit AEMA 44 / RB-Nr 0/0657/0001

    A very nice latewar messkit or Kochgeschirr made by Annweiler Email-u.Metall-Werke in late 1944. The marking RBNR. 0/0657/0001 was a latewar substitute for AEM.A. which is usually stamped on items from this maker. Interestingly both markings are used! AEMA 44 as wel as the RB-Nr, sadly the RB-Nr is not clearly readable because of the enamel itself. This messkit is finished with enamel and after that painted over before it left the factory. The messkit retains 75% of its original enamel finish. A truly uncommon and interesting latewar messkit!

The breadbag is in undamaged, untouched condition and is nicely named to Schön. Interesting example!

The messkit is nicely marked OHW 44 which indicates production by Otto Honsel-Werke, Aluminiumwerk, Werdohl in 1944. The mess kit is nicely named with the initials O.H. on multiple places, scratched in the surface of the aluminium and steel handle. Perfect example to complete a combat mannequin!

    Nice late war FF33 field phone with tan painted hardware on the bakelite housing. Typical configuration with a mix of black and tan painted hardware and 1943 dated telephone without simplified connectors, most likely early 1944 production.

    Note: The field phone appears to be in good shape and is complete with all the necessary parts to use it including the battery box which is mostly broken or missing. I have not opened or tested the field phone!

    Nice original third pattern US first aid kit that was installed in all combat, cargo, transport, training planes, and gliders at the factory as well as in the E-8, E-11 and E-12 Emergency Sustenance Kits. The kit comes with the partial contents but -as always- is missing the morphine syrettes. These kits can also be seen worn on the belts of glider- and paratroopers.

    Original pre war mapcase which is executed in smooth, not pebbled leather. The mapcase is nicely marked Ltn. (Leutnant) Gerullis. The design, stitching material and aluminium hardware however all indicate this is a pre war example. Interesting smooth example which is nicely named!

    These cutlery sets were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The set is in good used condition and would normally be one of the standard breadbag items! All the parts of this example is are marked W.S.M. 43 which indicates production by Walter Solbach Metallbau in 1941 except for the can opener which is marked F.W.W. 41 which indicates production by Friedrich Wilke Westig/W., Solingen (Rostfrei). Nice non-matching set in good condition!

    Excellent late war (1943) leather equipment belt in great, light used condition. The belt is a very nice 1943 dated example with a typical blue painted hook just like which is used for the Einheitskoppelschloss, this belt will thereby be a perfect match with a late war blue painted belt buckle! The belt is nicely marked E. Kammler, Gerlitz 1943 and with the good mannequin size 90. Excellent 1943 dated belt which would be perfect to complete a late war set up!

  • Unissued M31 messkit marked ESB 42

    Beautiful, unissued and textbook M31 mess kit in almost perfect mint condition. The mess kit has clearly never been used and shows some minor traces of storage. The lid and hinges are all beautifully marked ESB 42 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1942. The mess kit retains up to 98% of its original green olive finish and would be very hard to upgrade considering this is a textbook and mint condition piece!

    Textbook 1941 dated coconut (Feldflasche) canteen in good used condition. This is the variant with the typical webbing closing buckle and with unusual rounded metal tips which are only encountered on early coconut examples like this one! The canteen is nicely marked HRE 41 which indicates production by Heinrich Ritter, Esslingen in 1941. In configuration with an excellent black bakelite cup marked gfc 1941. The pin on the bottom to attach the straps is sadly missing. Textbook coconut canteen in good used but not abused condition!

    Beautiful first pattern black and brown speckled butterdish or Fettbüchse marked S. The butterdish looks black but close inspection reveals its fully speckled with dark brown spots. Aesthetic variant!

    Beautiful textbook mid war equipment belt in stone mint and most likely unissued condition. The belt is nicely marked R.Z.f.H. 1942 which indicates production by Reichs Zentrale für Handwerkslieferungen  The belt is 90cm long which is a perfect large size!

    A nice pre war brown leather mapcase in a good used condition. The mapcase was maker marked but this is faded by the usage and is now unreadable. The design, material and hardware however all indicate this is a pre war example. The mapcase is nicely named with a purple coloured Kopiërstift which was often used to name or mark equipment but sadly it’s unreadable.

    A nice original Model 9 Esbit stove in good condition. The Esbit and the fuel box is marked DRP and Stuttgart W indicating it was produced pre 1943 when the original factory was bombed to the ground. There were many different boxes for the fuel tablets and this is one of the variants.
