  • Woodwork find M40 hkp66 M40 single decal ex-wire camouflage helmet from Gent, Belgium

    Original, as recently bought from a non-collector in Gent, Belgium. This M40 helmet is marked hkp66 indicating production by Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. in the shell size 66. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and period installed chinstrap. The helmets exterior features its factory paint with decal, covered with green and brown paint with signs it once had a full wire installed during the war. At some point the wire was removed; and the decal might have been cleaned a bit. But this is exactly how I bought it from a non-collector in Gent, Belgium. If you’re after a helmet that’s never been in a collection in good used condition; this is it!

The helmet retains up to 95% of its period factory paint and factory installed large liner dated 1944 in size 7 1/2. The helmet complete and would be a very hard to upgrade collectable!

    Excellent mint Dot 44 or Erbsentarn camouflage HBT combat tunic. This tunic is in mint condition with strong and vibrant colours. The garment is with its factory zig zag sewn sleeve eagle. The size is big and good for most modern mannequins. The tunic is marked 0/0793/0101 indicating production by Textil und Bekleidungswerke GmbH Becker. Clearly a original Waffen-SS camouflage tunic in mint condition that would be impossible to upgrade!

    Textbook late war long M38 gasmask canister with periodically attached straps with a type of rubberized ends. Stunning canister without mask which would be perfect for display on a mannequin because the weight of a complete canister with gasmask would damage the straps on long terms! This is the typical late war “Last Ditch” canister with the stamped steel hook!

  • DRK Helferin gasmask with canister named to Hildegard Ebbmeyer

    Beautiful field blue repainted canister complete with the M38 gasmask and the short carrying strap. The canister is in great condition and retains most of its blue field paint. The inside of the lid features a label named to DRK Helferin Hildegard Ebbmeyer. – Feldp. Nr. 03654M. the same name is engraved into the surface of the canister. Beautiful named and unit ID’ed example in great condition which would be impossible to be upgrade!

    Excellent equipment strap with the quick release strap. The strap is in mint and most likely unissued condition and is nicely marked gfg 1942 which indicates production by Karl Hepting u. Co., Leder- u. Guertelfabrik, Stuttgart. Nice detail is that the loop is made out of pebbled leather.

Stunning M31 canteen in pretty good condition with interesting straps!

The canteen cup and the flask itself are both nicely marked ESB 43 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1943. The cup is interesting because it features 3 layers of paint, red primer, olive green and as finish dark green! Interesting canteen with a textbook construction in good used condition!

Almost all M. & C. produced canteens are made in 1939 and are in completely unissued condition, sometimes even together with the original factory box. Finding a 1940 dated example made by M. & C. in combat used condition is rare!

    A nice original Waffen-SS belt buckle marked RZM 155/40 ᛋᛋ indicating production by Assmann & Sohne, Lüdenscheid. The buckle is marked under the prongs which was only done for a short period in 1940. This was the final and 4th type of Waffen-SS belt buckle by Assmann in 1940. The buckle is in really good condition with most of the original paint remaining!

This type of messkit marked with a triangular symbol and dated are believed to be produced by the well known helmet manufacturer Emaillierwerke Fulda (EF). Both parts are engraved with the name Hilbig. These M42 steel messkits with these triangular symbols are pretty rarely encountered!

    Tent pole or Zeltstock 01 in good condition which was issued to every soldier together with the Zeltbahn. (Every soldier was issued one pole, two pegs and one Zeltleine together with his Zeltbahn.) The tent pole is constructed out of wood with blued steel reinforcements on both ends, the tent pole measures approximately 37cm as it should! The tent pole is nicely marked ggt 42 which indicates production by a still unknown producer, marked tent poles are hard to find!
