Original starter tab for the MG34 and MG42. These starter tabs were linked to the standard 50 round belts committing the need for opening the top cover to reload. The tab is marked dej 11 40 indicating production by Schwelmer Stahl- u. Eisen-Giesserei Gustav Schubeis, Schwelm in Westfalen.
