Woodwork find M40 hkp66 M40 single decal ex-wire camouflage helmet from Gent, Belgium

Original, as recently bought from a non-collector in Gent, Belgium. This M40 helmet is marked hkp66 indicating production by Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. in the shell size 66. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and period installed chinstrap. The helmets exterior features its factory paint with decal, covered with green and brown paint with signs it once had a full wire installed during the war. At some point the wire was removed; and the decal might have been cleaned a bit. But this is exactly how I bought it from a non-collector in Gent, Belgium.
