MG34 and MG42 starter tab marked ST 40

Original starter tab for the MG34 and MG42. These starter tabs were linked to the standard 50 round belts committing the need for opening the top cover to reload. The tab is marked ST 40 indicating production by Stocko Metall Waren Fabriken, Wappertal – Elberfeld, later to switch to CVO.
