€300.00Rare Kavallerietasche Reichswehr gasmask filter marked R. Larsen Berlin S.W.4B, FB 41 bwz. This filter and its accompanying pouch was made specifically for Kavalerie units before the M38 gasmask was introduced. The filters for the Reichswehr gasmasks are hard to find; this is the first time I’ve ever encountered the cavalry filter pouch with filter. The filter is in good condition but I believe there is some corrosion underneath the leather, but I chose not to remove it from its cover. This is a very rare Reichswehr era gasmask filter with pouch and belt attatchment!

MG34 u. MG42 barrel changing mitt
€300.00Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

The item sold here is a part of his virtual legacy of articles. A nice and rare example from a well known and curated collection!

Heer/Waffen-SS issue Italian sweater
€300.00Textbook Heer issue round neck sweater with button closure. These sweaters can be observed on many period images and can be a nice touch to any mannequin. Even when it is damaged like this one it is still perfect for a mannequin with the collar viewable trough the opened neck collar of a tunic, smock, fliegerbluse or wrapper. Hard to find!
These sweaters have just been found in a cloth processing plant which was closed down in the 1960’s and was found with many German uniforms. Fresh on the market, never been in a collection!

The case is still in good condition and the labels are still readable. The label clearly reads: “Landkarten-Stifte Nr. 541“. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Taktik-etui) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). This is one of the rarer products to find from the Eberhard Faber product line and this example comes straight out of my personal collection! Belongs in any map-case collection!

This small variant is one of the rarest products to find from the Eberhard Faber product line and this example comes straight out of my personal collection! Belongs in any map-case collection!

French trench periscope
€300.00A very nice trench periscope. The periscope is in minty condition with good optics. The periscope is nicely marked and complete with its original carrying case. These periscopes where produced pre war for the French army and used during the war by the German army.
