The helmet shell is marked ET68 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale in the shell size 68. The helmet retains its original liner with the initial M in the front. The chinstrap is a very hard to find first pattern example which was added to the helmet by the previous owner. The liner has one repair to the front which is actually very hard to spot if you would not know it. The helmet retains its period applied tan camouflage paint up to 70%.
