Pre war leather E-tool carrier marked II./A.R. 76 indicating II batterie Artillerie Regiment 76. This regiment served with the 6. Panzerdivision in 1939. In the French campaign it was part of Kamfgruppe von Kleist and saw heavy battles in France. In 1942 it was renamed to Panzer Artillerie Regiment 76 and was sent to the eastern front. It was equipped with a number of armoured artillery pieces such as the Hummel and Wespe. Interesting pre war straight E-tool carrier with period inked unit markings!
