Rare tabbed blue Philips “Knijpkat” type 7424-03 torch

Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works! This is a tabbed example (Leather tab for attachment to a button), which indicates that this is a Wehrmacht issued example. Excellent example which is finished in blue paint which is a first for me with the button tab!
