German ID disc or Erkennungsmarke marked 9/ H. Art. Brig. mot. 401 indicating Heeres Artillerie Brigade 401. In november 1944 it was renamed to Volks-Artillerie-Korps motorisiert 401. It was then attatched to the 5. Armee and took part in the Ardennes offensive. Hard to find Erkennungsmarke of a Ardennes offensive unit!
