  • Exceptional rare original Panzerkampfwagen V Panther muzzle brake

Extremely scarce muzzle brake for the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther. We believe it to be of the Ausführung A or D model. The Model D has only been produced for a short while with a production range of only 800 delivered units. The muzzle brake was once fitted on a 7,5 cm KwK 42/L70 which was a main gun designed for the Panther. There are only a very small amount of original Panther tanks remaining today, and many are missing their muzzle brake. The muzzle brake shows a heavy crack which was most probably caused by the Panther being knocked out. The muzzle brake is a relic that was found in Germany somewhere in the last century and has been in one collection since. The muzzle brake would be a epic man cave centerpiece and a guaranteed conversation piece. Most probably this is the only one we’ll ever be able to offer and a once in a lifetime chance to obtain such a unique item.

Please note, shipping will be calculated at cost, after ordering. Can be delivered to most European militaria fairs including the Militracks fair next weekend. Pickup is preferred. Delivery can be arranged within the BeNeLux.

The green Einheitslitzen are period factory sewn to the collar. The breast eagle is period factory machine sewn on the top, flipped and finished by hand. The picture coming after the breast eagle shot shows the stitch line, underneath the lining. The garment was most probably kept for walking out and has only one modification that is that the buttons on the front have all been moved one or two cm. This was most probably done because the soldier became well-fed. There is one cut in the right top pocket which is less visible in real life. This is really a stunning and textbook EM M40 tunic in mint condition that would be very hard to upgrade!

  • MG34/42 barrel changing mitt hab 1942

Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item, for sure the best one I’ve had to offer yet!
