Brandt was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, Kriegsverdienstkreuz, Kraftfahrerabzeichen ánd the Kubanschild.

The case is marked 1.9.1944 which most probably was the date of issue for the wearer. The case also has the rare and most desirable square shaped closing button.

These straps where issued to MG crews and assisted in carrying the MG34 and MG42 ammunition boxes. The material is strong and in used condition. These straps are hard to come by and would display nicely with a pair of ammunition boxes.

Rare white bakelite salt container marked 1W/K 1942
Excellent urea resin salt container/dispenser executed in the rare all-white colour. These are believed to be especially designed for use in tropical climates. This example is nicely marked (on all 3 parts) 1W/K, K indicates the usage of the material urea resin (certain type of bakelite), 1W indicates manufacturer Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland which can also be encountered asgfc on different coloured canteen cups! Excellent example in undamaged condition which would be impossible to upgrade!
