Normandy deathcard to Johann Geier, Obergefreiter in Panzergrenadierregiment 2 killed in action, 14.6.44 western Villers Bocage. Judging by the area of operations it can be said that Geier most probably served in the 2. Panzerdivision or the Panzer Lehr Division. This has been further researched and his full information can be seen on the archive card. A nice detail to his photograph is that it fully shows his awards. The archive card showing more information is not a part of the offering.

Beautiful Zeiler 4350 torch in a lovely red/brownish colour. Inside is a small repair to the mechanism, but it should work fine. The bakelite and glass is undamaged!

Speckled brown bakelite 6×30 Dienstglas container
A stunning speckled brown bakelite 6×30 binocular case. Later in the war when the Germans ran out of pigment for bakelite they switched over to different fillers. Sawdust was one of the filling materials used, creating a interesting speckled finish. The brown bakelite dienstglas containers where mostly found with tan 6×30 binoculars. The case is in very good, undamaged condition and has a very aesthetic and vibrant light brown colour which would nicely attribute a late war uniform setup.

A nice pre war brown leather mapcase in a good used condition. The mapcase was maker marked but this is faded by the usage and is now unreadable. The design, material and hardware however all indicate this is a pre war example.

The Litzen are factory sewn to the collar but the breast eagle is restored. The garment is dated 1944 and retains a piece of period paper label in the back. Textbook M44 field blouse in good condition that would be very hard to upgrade!

Excellent M36 field blouse for a Oberleutnant der Gebirgsjäger. The garment is a typical EM example that has been upgraded for wear by officers. Not to be confused with a privately purchased dress tunic, this is the field tunic without French cuffs and wide pockets. The garment is lightly shortened and has typical hand applied embroided insignia which in my opinion looks period applied. The garment is a very nice field blouse that would nicely display in any collection!
