German helmet

Textbook USMC poncho dated 1945. Pacific used and issued, but this most probably worn by a Dutch marine during the Korea war.

Stunning and obviously worn set of shoulderstraps for a Waffen-SS Sturmscharführer, the equivalent of a Spiess in the Heer. A very rare set of shoulderstraps that are absolute one-lookers.

Excellent Luftwaffe M40 helmet marked Q64 indicating production by Quist. The helmet retains its factory installed liner with its original drawstring. The helmet retains up to 95% of its factory finish. There is a large square on top the helmet, reminiscent of a send home label once attached. It’s lightly discolored but still a excellent decal helmet that would be a great addition to any helmet collection!

Excellent set consisting of Kriegsmarine tropical field blouse (Tropenfeldbluse für Mannschaften) and tropical short trousers. The tropical Kriegsmarine tunic itself is nicely maker marked Spiesshofer & Braun, Heubach/Württ. and comes together with the typical “Afrikakorps” issued shorts. The complete uniform is undamaged and retains most if not all of it’s original applied buttons. Very nice tropical Kriegsmarine uniform set!

Untouched Heer M43 field blouse for a Gefreiter in a Nachschub Abteilung. The field blouse is a textbook, late war example with factory sewn buttons, Litzen and breast eagle. The garment is a good medium size fitting modern mannequins. The garment retains a matching pair EM shoulderstraps with the bluegrey piping indicating Nachschub. The garment is a typical late war example made in coarse Italian wool. Beautiful example!

Rare first pattern Gebirgsjäger Windjacke. The garment is nicely maker marked Peter Lindt Kleiderfabrik, Wegberg RHLD. (Rheinland). The jacket is in quite hard used condition and has a few small damages and is a bit dirty, although the signs of usage the garment still retains all of the factory sewn buttons. Marked 52 which indicates the size, which is quite large and will fit most if not all modern mannequins. Hard to find first pattern Gebirgsjäger Windjacke in combat used condition.

Nice and desirable straight Italian E-tool complete with its converted folding E-tool carrier. This set is consisting out of an Italian produced shovel which were widely re-issued to the German troops and a folding E-tool carrier which has been converted to carry the straight Italian E-tool. The converted E-tool carrier is nicely marked “dta 42″ which indicates production by A. Waldhausen, Jnh. M. Bruchmann, Sattlerwaren- u. Kofferfabrik, Köln, Johannisstr. 65 – 67. Textbook way of converting equipment to make it useful and wearable!

I included 3 original wartime photographs which show these converted folding E-tool carriers being used.

A very nice late war steel Waffen-SS belt buckle made by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid. These buckles where made later in the war and came unmarked. A great textbook buckle in great condition still retaining up to 95% of it’s original finish!

This is a textbook late war production which is unmarked but clearly shows all the Overhoff features. Textbook example of the Handschar Waffen-SS Collar Tab. These were intended for the 13. Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS “Handschar”. This is an unissued, late war piece, in the typical “Dachau” construction as found in the SS storehouse at the Dachau camp when it was liberated by US Army forces in 1945. These are embroidered in silver-gray on a base of typical SS black wool. On the reverse, the textbook Dachau type coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is visible. There is some glue on the back, as well as the white stitching common to these Dachau tabs. Overall textbook construction with silver-white embroidered “Handschar” symbol on a typical black wool backing, and on the reverse the coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is clearly visible.

Transitional Reichswehr (pre 1935) Gasmask canister in good condition complete with its original short leather strap.

Nice and original set with spares to complete any gasmask canister. The set is consisting out of the cleaning cloth, spring and a package of Klarscheiben. These spares, especially the spring and the cleaning cloth are virtually always missing and hard to find as a spare!

Rare USAAF and RAF escape and evasion issue phrase card, complete with cover ánd the Russian card which is virtually always missing or not issued at all.

Rare original US army issue German phrase book or TM 30-606.

Original USN US Navy life preserver belt marked May 1 1944. Nice original example in very good condition.

Nice USMC suspenders in good used condition. This is the nice and harder to come by variant with “flatwire” hooks. Good condition and nicely named to Winkler!

Original US Navy (USN) medical kit, marked M.D.-U.S.N. for Medical Department – US Navy. A nice set to complete a corpsman’s equipment or a display!

Textbook US musette bag marked THE BYER MFG. CO. INC. 1941. This example is nicely named to Sullivan with an ASN number and would be nice for further research!
