US M1938 mapcase with board and Liege map marked Turner Mfg. Co. 1942
€350.00US army mapcase with Liege map marked Turner Mfg. Co. 1942. This is a nice set complete with map and map board. The map shows the upper left portion of the Ardennes region and the south of the Netherlands. The map shows a large portion of the Meuse river which was one of the tactical goals for the Germans. The Sprimont, Maastricht and Heerlen area is also well visible on the map. The mapcase is in good used condition and is complete with carrying strap.

ID’ed US M1938 mapcase with board and Valognes/St. Pierre-Eglise
€450.00ID’ed US M1938 mapcase with board and Valognes/St. Pierre-Eglise maps in good condition. The mapcase is named Cnd Terrel and has a number of markings on the clear cover and its wrap. Another nice addition is the handsewn button underneath the closing flap for attatching a separate piece like a whistle or compass. I have not researched the mapcase but found it as is. Both the maps of St. Pierre-Eglise and Valognes are glued together on the back. The area of interest in the map is mostly attributable for the US 4th Infantry Division, North of Utah beach and east of Cherbourg. There are several small pencil markings on the map. Nice piece in good used condition!

€1,950.00Incredibly scarce ammunition carrying bag for the MG34 and MG42 ammunition boxes. Manufactured from late war red striped material same as used for MP44 magazine pouches. These carrying bags where designed to carry a set of two ammunition boxes. This is a single bag which was worn with a single box which seems to have happened often later in the war. These bags where mostly used by Fallschirmjäger and Waffen-SS troops later in the war. These bags are incredibly scarce and this is a excellent, lightly used example.
The ammunition box is not a part of the sale.

At some point it was reissued by the factory which refinished it externally in textured Feldgrau paint. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and early chinstrap!

€275.00Textbook example of the Handschar Waffen-SS Collar Tab. These were intended for the 29. Waffen-Grenadier-Division Der SS Russische Nr.1. This is an unissued, late war piece, in the typical “Dachau” construction as found in the SS storehouse at the Dachau camp when it was liberated by US Army forces in 1945. These are embroidered in silver-gray on a base of typical SS black wool. On the reverse, the textbook Dachau type coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is visible. There is some glue on the back, as well as the white stitching common to these Dachau tabs. Overall textbook construction with silver-white embroidered “Handschar” symbol on a typical black wool backing, and on the reverse the coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is clearly visible.
