Non-reversible winter parka in Splittertarn camouflage marked RBNr. with unique face mask
Very nice late war manufactured and issued non-reversible winter parka in Splittertarn camouflage. The parka is nicely marked with an RBNr. but this is sadly unreadable. The parka retains its nice strong and bright colours but has a few typical small holes on the back. The parka is manufactured out of multiple different parts of Splittertarn camouflage. The parka is a nice medium size and would fit most if not all modern mannequins. The hood has been modified into a face mask which is a very nice, interesting and unique features of this parka! Rare and unique example!

This field blouse started its life as a enlisted mans variant manufactured in fine Gaberdine material. The garment retains its full wartime applied insignia. The breast eagle is a factory sewn BeVo enlisted example that at one point was covered with a bullion officers eagle but removed at some point revealing the EM eagle underneath. The garment is a beautiful example in excellent condition that will greatly display in any tunic collection!

The map shows the towns of La Gleize, Stoumont, Cheneux, Grand-Coo, Spa, Rahier and a part of the Hautes Fagnes marsh area which was the drop zone of FJR6. Interestingly it marks the marshy area as being wet. This is a hand applied period marking to the map, not printed.

The garment has some minor moth damage. There are two post war markings : one ‘Buchenwald’ on the bandage pocket and one round ‘Waffen-SS’ marking above the size markings. The garment is a good medium size and would be a great candidate for restoration.

Excellent pre war example that would be very hard to upgrade!

The back shows four female press studs that was in my opinion typical for dress tunics often washed and therefor easily removable. Beautiful, untouched example in strong worn condition.
