SOLD ITEMS

Extensive grouping of E.W.H. Vijgen, who served as a resistance man in the Orange Brigade in Heerlen, later to be a official member of the Stoottroepen. The armband MID indicates Militaire Inlichtingen Dienst or Military Intelligence Service. The grouping consists of a great number of items ranging from resistance armbands to pins, manuals and other paperwork. The grouping is to Dhr. Vijgen, who served various duties during the occupation and liberation of the southern Netherlands. The large book that comes with the group contains a large portion of the history of his resistance group. The book contains many secret resistance radio communication showing interesting information on operation Market Garden and other late war battles in the Netherlands. It concludes secret communication between the resistance and the Allies, but also what they heard from German radio communication. The group is very interesting for anyone researching the battles in the south of the Netherlands. It is surely a wealth of information for further research!

Pre war Heer EM/NCO sidecap with factory sewn eagle and cockade. The cap also retains a original white soutache for Infantry; but it’s sewn through the lining.  The cap is a medium but unreadable size. Beautiful pre war example!

Excellent aluminium Waffen-SS EM/NCO buckle in good, combat used condition. The belt buckle is clearly marked RZM 822/37 SS which indicates that this pre war example was produced in 1937 by a still unknown manufacturer (822). The buckle shows traces of usage and is a clearly combat used example! Nice pre war produced aluminium Waffen-SS belt buckle!

Textbook Heer EM/NCO sidecap with factory zigzag applied insignia. The sidecap is in great untouched, near mint condition dated 1942. Excellent example that would be impossible to upgrade!

Textbook pre war Heer EM/NCO visor cap marked Schellenberg Sonderklasse. The visor is in very good, worn condition with a nice patina overall. Good example with early insignia!

Rare pre war and complete Veterinär Satteltasche 29 by Hauptner. The Sanitäter bag is in complete condition and retains all of its period components. These pouches can be found partially complete or perhaps in damaged condition. The pouch retains all original containers and tools and as far as I can tell, is 100% complete.

A nice original Heer or Waffen-SS officers tunic in very good, lightly worn condition. The garment shows signs of a cufftitle and sleeve eagle once applied. There are vague traces of a breast eagle but not as clear as that of the sleeve eagle. Nice base tunic for a restoration of your own choice.

Very nice and aesthetic combat helmet. Field repainted in field grey on top of a reissue on top of the factory apple green paint. The helmet shows two stacked Heer and Kriegsmarine decals under the field grey repaint. There are traces of gold and silver decals. The helmet retains its original liner and chinstrap. The helmet is a very nice example of a helmet that was first issued in the Heer and later transferred to a Küstenartillerie unit. The grey top colour is typical for coastal artillery. The helmet retains its original non-reinforced liner which has a small label sewn inside the liner. It reads Brünahl 4. Battr. Art. Regt. 2. 

A killer pair of late war Gebirgsjäger lowboots in unissued condition. The pair is matching and complete with its original laces, original hobnails and cleats to the soles. The boots would make a perfect addition to a Gebirgsjäger or late war Waffen-SS setup. Rare to find in this condition!

A rare tan Presstoff MG42 tool pouch marked OaZ 4. The pouch is in good condition with all straps and D-ring intact. The pouch is complete with the full internals. Very hard to find complete with internal dividers!

Rare original Erdsprechgerät in good used condition. The Erdsprechgerät was a device used in the case of a broken field phone connection due to shrapnel for instance. The Erdsprechgerät is complete with the microphone and headset. The headset has a damaged outer cable but the inside looks fine. Very hard to find Erdsprechgerät with its original and undamaged case!
