The blanket is nicely dated 1929. The Reichsmarine consisted of ‘just’ 15.000 men at its high point and its items are very rare!

Ammunition pouch set for a G43
A nice set exactly as would be issued to a G43 rifleman. One magazine pouch for two G43 magazines and one pouch for additional stripper clips for reloading. As the war progressed and materials became scarce it meant that the G43 was issued with only two magazines and one pouch from the start. Both pouches are nicely maker marked and are in the same unissued condition!

A nice bayonet marked 44 fnj indicating production by Alexander Coppel GmbH (aka Alcoso), Solingen. The bayonet has never been sharpened or reblued. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 8483 (no suffix) and has nice clean bakelite grips. The bayonet is in good uncleaned, unsharpened and matching (!) condition.

Blue steel Heer belt buckle marked N&H 1942
A very nice mid war belt buckle marked N&H 1942 indicating production by Nolle & Hueck, Lüdenscheid. The buckle is finished in Blaugrau paint thats also known as Einheitsfarbe. The buckle is the earliest example of a blue painted Heer buckle that I’ve found. These early blue buckles are referred to as being made and issued to the Kriegsmarine. Later in the war the blue Heer buckles started being issued to other branches and officially labeled Einheitskoppelschloss. Hard to find a early blue buckle!

Scarce aluminium Heer belt buckle by the maker of Stefan Merkl, Nürnberg. This buckle is dated 1940 which was the last year the aluminum belt buckles where produced and the first where steel belt prongs where introduced. The buckle retains its originally sewn leather tab and is in good used condition. St. Merkl marked buckles are very rare!

Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid. The canteen is in unissued condition with pigskin leather. The long strap is original to the piece and is made out of two different parts of leather. This is not a repair but a late war necessity. A great midwar medical canteen in great condition!
