Pocket Litter

Excellent and rare bakelite salt container/dispenser. These are believed to be especially designed for use in tropical climates.  The K indicates the usage of urea resin (which is a certain type of Bakelite) with an organic filler material. Nice and hard to find example!

Nice original Göffel marked GK&F 38 which indicates production by Gebr. kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid in 1938. The maker Gebr. Kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid is mainly known for their production of belt buckles but they produced a lot more than just belt buckles!

Rare silver plated Luftwaffe tea spoon marked WMF I/62. The marking 90 indicates a high silver content in the plating of the spoon. Nice example!

Beautiful period Marschkompass marked Touristenkompass which most likely indicates that this is a private purchase example. The compass is in stone mint condition and complete with its virtually always missing leather strap. It is also marked DRGM indicating production during the third reich. Hard to upgrade example!

Textbook pre war pattern compass in excellent condition. The compass is nicely marked MK. Hard to find a pre war pattern compass in this condition!

Rare brown coloured bakelite Zeiler 4350 torch or Taschenlampe in very good condition. The torch features a nice, almost marbled brown bakelite and a screw cap with red/black marbled bakelite. Hard to find example!

Textbook late war brown bakelite butterdish or Fettbuchse dated 1944.

Textbook Wehrmacht issue chocolate Scho-Ka-Kola ration. This caffeine laced issue chocolate was issued to troops serving on the front. Nicely dated 1941. Hard to find in good condition. The original contents are still inside the canister! Very hard to find complete set!

This Lico Wirtschaftkasten was one of the most luxuous pieces of private purchase pocket litter. This set was commonly gifted to sons going to war, bought by officers or bought at barracks stores. This kit basicly had all the items a soldier would need to keep clean and organised. The Mica is a basic set of period personal items and was designed to fit inside the M31 messkit. This Lico type is the Reichswehr variant which fits in the higher pre war messkit. There are a number of wartime small pocket litter items inside but the toothbrush is a in my opinion a reproduction item, but it adds to the display so I will leave it with the case. Nice example in good condition!

Very rare Luftwaffe clear map holder or Schutzhülle für Zielkarten SHZ2 in excellent, unissued condition. These map holders were used to keep maps safe during flight. The holder is complete with the original cardboard insert/divider. The map holder is nicely marked Baumuster SHZ 2, Fl.Nr. 23855, Paul Gebhardt Söhne, Berlin, Gew. 0.2 Kg, Fertigst. 1. 9. 40. Extremely hard to find specialized Luftwaffe piece of equipment!

One of the rarest mapcase accessories: an original paper notebook for map sketching, taking notes and write down findings and messages. This is a beautiful period example for military use! This is the first time I have encountered this specific type by Union. Hard to find example in very good condition designed for military use!
