Tan MG34 u. MG42 ammunition case
€300.00A very nice tan camouflaged ammunition box for the MG34 and MG42. As the Germans occupied Czechoslovakia they took over most of their military stocks including weapons and equipment. This box for the Czech ZB 37 machine gun or MG 37 (t) originally had a slope welded inside to stack the ZB ammunition properly. This slope was removed by the Germans and the leftover holes filled in prior to a tan repaint.
A rare box to encounter in very good condition with most of the wartime tan camouflage!

G43 pouch marked ebd 44
€550.00Rare G43 and K43 ammunition pouch executed in brown leather. This is a rare example which does not come from the Ukraine hoard find. The pouch is marked ebd44 and as far as I know, is the only example out there. The pouch is a nice original example in light used condition, if at all. The pouch is a rare variant with a sewn D-ring attatchment which virtually ALWAYS is riveted to the main body of the pouch. The magazine pouch is a nice and rare variant that is missing from most if not all G43 pouch collections.

The bayonet has never been sharpened or rebelled and remains in very good and sharp condition. The bayonet and its scabbard are a factory match with serial 8594 I. Textbook example!

€75.00Textbook early K98 ammunition pouch in hard, used condition. The pouch misses a rivet from a loop on the back. The pouch is nicely marked Otto Gehrckens, Pinneberg 1941. Although the hard use the pouch still retains the internal dividers and the closing straps are intact. Nice example!

MG34/42 barrel changing mitt
€300.00Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!
