This is the the third pattern issued example made with a bakelite housing and with a capital “A” on top which indicates a clockwise 64 Mills direction. The production of this third pattern started post May 1944. The compass is nicely marked cxn which indicates production by Emil Busch A.-G., Rathenow. The compass is in good used condition and features a blueish anodized lid which is rare to encounter and typical for this manufacturer! Nice late war “A” marked compass!

€45.00Distance meter or Kurvenmesser. The Kurvenmesser is in great working condition. Although these are mostly advertised as ‘ Wehrmacht ‘ or being a issued piece; these are all privately purchased. To be quite frank; 99% of the offered examples on the market today are most probably post war, with this one being no different other then it being advertised correctly. These pieces are however exactly the same as the 1940’s examples as the factories that made these never really changed the ‘winning’ concept. A nice mapcase accessory in good working condition at a sharp price.
