The LP34 is marked Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis 1939 which indicates production by Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis. The flare gun was left behind and found in Metz, France. Nice 1940 dated Pioneer saw with leather scabbard
A very nice pioneer handsaw in good used condition made by Marke Steigo in 1941 and etched by a veteran as a bringback. The brown leather scabbard is nicely marked Lederwarenwerk Curt Vogel Cottbus 1940. The saw is in good condition with all the teeth intact. The saw still functions great! The handle is missing a small portion of the wood but this is something I see at most of these pioneer saws. I think it has to do with the bayonet is positioned direct next to it on the equipment belt. This pioneer saw comes with the textbook brown leather scabbard dated 1940. The saw would make a awesome addition to a pioneer display and is really in very good condition!
