Early Y-strap marked Moritz Stecher, Freiberg 1940 in used condition. This is a ‘hidden stitch’ example which has some repairs on the front trough the leather. Since the Y-strap was only experimentally issued to front line troops in the 1940 campaign and only became general issue in 1941. Therefor the Y-straps dated pre 1941 are very hard to find.
