US first aid pouch with plain sterilized gauze package

US army issue first aid kit with original pouch in good, used condition. The pouch itself is nicely dated 1942 and it contains a cardboard package of plain sterilized gauzes in very good condition. The pouch itself seems to feature two unreadable laundry numbers which would suggest that this a real issued example which most likely saw combat.
