US airborne cap ID’ed T5337. The cap retains its original sewn cap patch and the other side shows the Rendezvous with Destiny 101st crest badge. The badge is marked G23 Ira Green and is probably a post world war two veteran applied example. The laundry number would be a nice base for further research.
