Stone mint and unissued M42 canteen in textbook configuration. The flask itself is nicely marked MN 44 which indicates production by Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar (MENESA) in 1944 and comes in configuration with a black bakelite cup marked AL/S. The strap is a textbook late war two piece construction example made out of smooth leather. Perfect example!
