Three-tone camouflage gasmask named to Gefr. Geisler L51920

Stunning three-tone camouflage gasmask named Gefr. Geisler L51920. The gasmask retains up to 90% of its original wartime applied camouflage paint in nice vibrant colours. Inside on the spare lens compartment one can see the name for Gefreiter Geisler with a Luftwaffe feldpost number L51920 and Stab 691 indicating Gefreiter Geisler was in Leichte Flak-Abteilung 691 which was stationed first in Montpellier, and later in Antwerpen, Belgium, ‘S Hertogenbosch and Arnhem. This is a very nice original camouflage gasmask with lots of potential further research. The gasmask would be a very nice addition to any camouflage collection and would be very hard to upgrade!

This ensemble was photographed on Omaha Beach on the 5th of June 2019.
